If you’re looking for an escape from the cold weather this weekend, Gym Park is the place to be. Continuing from the success of the Gym Park Jam last December, Nadia Lesy from Bullettrun is teaming up with Gym Park to create another fun even that all traceurs are welcome to attend- free of charge.
“We held the first [event] back in December”, Nadia says. “Initially just to promote Bullettrun, raise money for Parkour community charities, the Bullettrun sticker slap competition… and of course the Gym Park; as well as bring the Parkour community together during the holiday season.” The event turned out to be a great success, with a big turnout and lots of fun training. This Sunday, Nadia aims to make the event even more memorable. In addition to open session training and projecting choice parkour videos, a course will be set up for anybody that would like to participate in a friendly competition (although there will be prizes!)
The event will take place this Sunday, February 10th, at Gym Park (81 Oak st, Brooklyn). If you’d like to find out more information, check out the Facebook event page.
