Paying Respect to Basilio Montilla

A few days ago Basilio Montilla,  a beloved member of the Parkour community passed away. He was loved and admired by many around him. Our feelings are have been summed up eloquently by Ms. García-Lesy, another parkour member:

"During the time he lived, Basilio trained thousands of students in the art and discipline of parkour. He was one of the original members of NYParkour who began practicing parkour over 10 years ago. When he died, he was doing what he loved by pursuing a career as a stunt professional. Basilio's movement style was not just parkour, but incorporated almost every physical discipline which he adapted and made his own. He was especially an artistic genius in that manner especially. Please give if you can. Basilio Montilla's family really needs the help. Nobody saw this coming. Life is precious and often too brief". Here is the gofundme link for Basilio: anything helps.

May heaven be your eternal playground Basilio. RIP.
