Parkour is an extreme sport common in Europe for a couple of years. This sport has now gained popularity across the Atlantic and is growing rapidly in the United States. Participants in this activity, known as parkour locations, attempt to overcome barriers in the most effective way possible in their setting. Simply jumping or scaling an obstacle can accomplish this, but sometimes it is achieved in a very acrobatic way.
The sport was followed by a long-standing underground but has now gained media exposure through numerous television advertisements and has even been featured in latest blockbuster movies. As a consequence, many amateurs try without adequate protection or advice to recreate these hazardous stunts. The case of an 18-year-old male who suffered numerous fractures/dislocations of his left foot while practicing parkour will be reviewed soon in our next papers. ACFAS Clinical Evidence Level.
